Some amazing footage of the “ARGYMAK”, world largest self propelled Air Cushion Barge ever built on trials in the waters of the Caspian Sea. A rare project where propulsion by 3 large Air Fans are pushing the barge over land and shallow waters, whereby a set of two HYDROMASTER Series 5 Deck Mounted Azimuth thrusters are taking over when barge operates in deeper waters.

The barge measuring 56m in length and spans 24m wide operates on a cushion of air. The two Azimuth Propulsion units rated 368 kW each, fully classed to RINA, are deployed for transit as well as enhancing the barge manoeuvrability.
