Electrical (Service) Engineer

Hydromaster is a manufacturer of steerable propulsion systems for ships. We operate from Rotterdam (the Netherlands) and Southend-on-Sea (United Kingdom) and supply and service our systems worldwide.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Electrical (Service) Engineer to join our team in Rotterdam to build HYDROMASTER propulsion units, more specificaly the control systems.
Job Description:

As an Electrical (Service) Engineer your key responsibilities will include:

• Build Hydromaster propulsion units and control systems in our workshop, conform our latest specifications, drawings and workshop manuals. To work individually or as part of a small energetic team in accordance to instructions provided by the workshop foreman
• Carry out or assist during FATs
• Service and commission propulsion units on site

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience with PCBand microcontroller based systems
• Able to read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical drawings / manuals and information
• At least 4 years or more of (marine) electrical and panel wiring experience
• Hands-on mentality and practical technical sense
• Flexible, goal oriented and enjoys working in a team
